Leadville locals Rohan and Anna Lauer Roy just completed a 14 day ski traverse of the 14 peaks above 14,000 feet in the Sawatch range. The trip started on April 14, 2014! Their goal was to raise $14,000 for our great local mentoring program Full Circle. They want to enhance the youth programs, starting with skiing. . .
Their journey started at the Mt. Shavano trailhead and they skied back to Leadville with no vehicle assistance. They carried all their gear and camped along the way.

Full Circle provides opportunities for underprivileged young people in Leadville to experience all the activities that people come from many miles away to experience: hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, mountain biking, xc and downhill skiing, as well as community service projects, life skills education, and mentoring with caring adults. Full Circle activities are free for participants, and are entirely funded by grants and donations.
