Repairs
By prioritizing functional design, Melanzana clothing is built to last for years. If you need a repair, we can usually take care of it for a reasonable fee. While we want to fix everything, we can’t guarantee all repairs are possible. Sometimes an item is just plain worn-out and at the end of its life, other times the damage is so traumatic that the piece is basically totaled. Please note, we do not repair non-Melanzana gear.
Our repair team will need to see the item in person before confirming it’s repairable. Please email [email protected] to begin the repair process.
- No appointment required!
- Repairs can be dropped off, or mailed to the Leadville factory store.
- Repairs are done once a week, so please plan to be without your gear for 2-3 weeks.
- Rates are based on labor and the cost of replacement parts.
- Estimated cost per repair:
- Patch, dependent on size and complexity: $5 – $10
- Zipper, replace slider: $5
- Zipper, replace one side: $20
- Zipper, replace both sides: $35
- Color matching patches to the original garment is not always possible. The repairs team will do their best to match or honor customer preferences.
- Please review the photos of the repairs below to ensure your expectations are met. Repairs are not miracles, and our patches actually look like patches.
- PLEASE WASH your item before returning it. We won’t work on dirty clothing.
