These tights are a great high-performance layer for highly active use in cool and cold weather. Close fitting and very stretchy, they make a great base layer for very cold conditions, or a high performance single/ outer layer for highly active use in cool and cold weather. Run, snowshoe, nordic ski, bike, climb, whatever. The Power Stretch material provides excellent moisture wicking and high breathability. Simple back pocket, elastic waist with cord and cord lock.

Women's sizes now have a 2 inch lower rise than previous versions.

Midweight Polartec Power Stretch fleece has a thin polyester fleece interior for warmth and comfort, and a tough-yet-stretchy outer surface knit from Nylon and Lycra. The fleece interior stays dry against the skin, and moisture is actively passed through to the nylon outer surface, providing excellent moisture wicking performance. A Teflon D.W.R. (Durable Water Repellent) finish forces water to bead up on the surface and speeds drying time. 60% Polyester, 30% Nylon, 10% Lycra.

Fairly close fitting and sporty, but not too tight. Men's have a slightly roomier straight leg, while the Women's are a bit tighter and more tapered. As of July 2008, women's sizes have a 2 inch lower rise than previous versions. Mens S - XXL, Womens XS - XL, Regular and Long lengths.
