6/5 — Fish Hatchery 5k 2016
Located at the historic Leadville National Fish Hatchery, the event features a scenic cross country style course that winds through subalpine forest near and around the Evergreen Lakes and lower Rock Creek area. The route consists of dirt road, path and trail. INDIVIDUALS PRE-REGISTERED FOR THE TURQOISE LAKE HALF MARATHON PARTICIPATE FOR FREE.

6/18 — Leadville Trail Marathon and Leadville Trail Heavy Half Marathon 2016
The course for both of these races is out and back through the historic mining district on the east side of Leadville. Races start at 8:00 am in front of the 6th Street Gym.

7/8 — Leadville Trail 100 Silver Rush 50-Mile Trail Run Race 2016
This run is conducted on the same course as the Silver Rush 50-MIle Mountain Bike Race.
The 50-mile out-and-back course takes racers through the historic mining district on the east side of Leadville. Primarily on dirt roads, first set by miners and their burros, it will begin at the Cloud City Ski Hut (located just below Colorado Mountain College on Hwy 24 on the South end of Leadville). The route will take runners by and between many grand and historic gold and silver mines.

7/9 — Leadville Trail 100 Silver Rush 50-Mile Mountain Bike Race 2016
The 50-mile out-and-back course takes racers through the historic mining district on the east side of Leadville. Primarily on double track dirt roads, first set by miners and their burros, it will begin at the Cloud City Ski Hut (located just below Colorado Mountain College on Hwy 24 on the South end of Leadville). The start will be a dramatic mass start up Dutch Henri Hill to an old mining road. The route will take riders by and between many grand and historic gold and silver mines.

July 29-31, 2016
The 100-mile out-and-back course is in the midst of the Colorado Rockies. Low point of 9,200 feet is located at the Twin Lakes dam. The high point is Columbine Mine, at 12,424 feet. The majority of course is on mountain two-track fire roads.
Stage 1 — 42 miles
Start at the Lake County Rodeo Grounds and finish at Lost Canyon.
Stage 2 — 16 miles
Start and finish at Lost Canyon while climbing/descending Columbine.
Stage 3 — 42 miles
Start at Lost Canyon and finish at the Lake County Rodeo Grounds.

A scenic 100 mile out and back in the midst of the Colorado Rockies. Lowest point is 9,200 ft. and the highest point is Hope Pass, 12,600 ft.
