400 Meters of Snow. Under the lights. Down Harrison Avenue (the main drag) in historic Leadville.

Two skiers start and the fastest advances until there's one skier left! See you there!!

Race Day Registration on Harrison Avenue from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm

Proceeds go to benefit Leadville Nordic.

3/7 — Leadville Nordic Paintball Ski Biathlon
At the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center

Children's 1k starts at 10:30 am
5k starts at 11:00 am
10k starts at 12 noon

One 5-shot prone shoot and one 5-shot standing shoot per race. If you make a shot, 15 seconds (5k race) or 30 seconds (10k race) will be deducted from your time.

Prizes will be awarded to the top two skiers in each age category.

This event is a fundraiser for Leadville Nordic.

7/17 — Leadville Silver Rush 50-Mile Mountain Bike Race
The 50-mile out-and-back course takes racers through the historic mining district on the east side of Leadville. Primarily on double track dirt roads, first set by miners and their burros, it will begin at the Cloud City Ski Hut (located just below Colorado Mountain College on Hwy 24 on the South end of Leadville). The start will be a dramatic mass start up Dutch Henri Hill to an old mining road. The route will take riders by and between many grand and historic gold and silver mines.

7/18 — Leadville Silver Rush 50-Mile Trail Run Race
This run is conducted on the same course as the Silver Rush 50-MIle Mountain Bike Race.

The 50-mile out-and-back course takes racers through the historic mining district on the east side of Leadville. Primarily on dirt roads, first set by miners and their burros, it will begin at the Cloud City Ski Hut (located just below Colorado Mountain College on Hwy 24 on the South end of Leadville). The route will take runners by and between many grand and historic gold and silver mines.

A scenic 50 mile out and back in the midst of the Colorado Rockies. Lowest point is 9,200 ft. and the highest point is Hope Pass, 12,600 ft. The majority of the race is on forest trails with some mountain roads. Pacers allowed after the 50 mile point. For more information, call

2010 will be the inaugural year for this race.

The 12 / 24 Hours of Leadville race course will combine a taste of all the features that have made the Leadville Trail 100 famous the world over. Come prepared for technical trails, fast double track and a real lung-burning good time! Course map will be released when registration opens. Race will start at 12 noon on 9/4/2010.
